It was extremely important to ensure, there are absolutely no delays, as the inauguration date for the terminal was pre decided.

A team of 22 Engineers & Technicians dedicatedly worked for 6 Months, converting 3D 体育OB Models in REVIT, while integrating architectures, structures & MEP models in NAVISWORKS to prepare clash Detection Reports.
Construction already in progress was very slow due to inefficient conflict management, and the inauguration date was fixed, so the primary challenge was to abide by the deadline. The team was to address conflicts identified during conversion of 2D drafts to 3D MEP models, requiring mitigation within set budgets, while managing on field conflicts identified, on priority basis. Engineers were required to devise concise coordination plan, to ensure that all involved stake holders remained informed about any conflicts that were identified and mitigated during the project execution.
Teams, well aware about importance of coordination for this project, bifurcated MEP/FP coordination in two distinct segments. One of the groups coordinated the underground utilities like plumbing and electricals while the second addressed all the above-ceiling coordination of all the MEP/FP utilities. Furthermore, the responsibilities were delegated for converting 2D models to 3D using 体育OB / VDC tools. Plumbing and electrical systems were integrated using NAVISWORKS. Fire protection systems including the mains and branches, and several specialty components that included medical gases were the highlights of the solutions delivered.
hitech solutions’ 体育OB/VDC tools & collaborative project delivery approach resulted in savings of $7M and 6 months. Project completion accomplished a completely operational terminal with 100% of MEP systems installed. A lot of time was saved on non-value adding activities including MEP Field conflicts leading to Request for Information or Change Orders. Zero change orders due to diminished field conflicts saved an estimated 1% – 2%, of overall cost of MEP systems.
